Ahoy, mates!

There's a new distributor in the U.S. for Small Shop precision tooling, (Hold-n-Fold, The Nutter, etc.), Free Time Hobbies located in the heart of downtown Americus Georgia...I've noted many modelers of late having a tough time locating these tools on our side of the pond, so here ya go, mates!

Americus Georgia...

I might just have to make a trip and talk with these folks, while I am there I can stop by Andersonville and see the sights there as well.

Their pe benders seem a bit high priced, does anyone have one of their benders that could give us a run down on it?

Pricey a bit, Frank, yes, but well worth it...I sell precision tooling for a living, and quality speaks LOUDLY in this area of the hobby...I've had a Hold-n-Fold in my toolbox for quite a long time, and the folding edges are still as hard and crisp as new...........so basically, the old adage of "ya git what ya pay fer' " follows in this area as well.

I had the pleasure of speaking for a time with Alasdair Johnson, from Small Shop history, and he demonstrated all of the company's tooling products at AMPS 2006, and I was quite impressed at all of the quality and versatility of their line........but I still favor my Ausfwerks Fenderbender (soon a collectors item) for most of my larger ship-building PE work...
