Hi Every one.
I've finished the diorama of my PT174.
It's taken a long while but I think it's been worth it.
I've learnt some new technic's inproved on some old ones & even tried using Oil paint for the 1st time. Cant seem to add any pic's at the moment seems to be a problem.
Taking the diorama to a show next weekend 1st show for me this year. should be fun.
you can link to my pictures by.

Hope you like the pic's.
Any comments are very welcome.

Hi Shaun,
Outstanding work and a great idea to display the boat. Love the camo lol, lol and you have lots of activity going on in and around the boat. The Duke would be proud of you
Good luck at the show, this one should turn a few heads.
Cheers
Al

Hello
Thanks guy's glad you like the build. It's been fun for some 1 that normally only build's armour.
If you want to use the picture's for a feature that's fine with me same for an article.
Cant wait for this weekends show to see peoples reaction to the paint scheme. should be a laugh.

Hi
I've done it after all the year's of trying at the show's my PT174 won me a Gold.
I entered it in the diorama section at the Milton keynes model show . It made a good impression with the public from the amount of pictures that were taken & the questions that I got asked. So I'm now very very Happy.
Thanks for all your help everybody.

In some of the photos there is a bright green line on the boat somewhere close to the waterline. What is this supposed to be? Nice looking dio. Congrats on the gold. "Q"

Hi
The Green line is where the Algae collected & stuck to the side of the boats. If you look at the picture of PT109 when it was on the transport ship you will see the dark line.
I painted it a bright green so that it looked fresh. The sailor sitting on the smaller scaffold has had the boring job of scrapping this off.

Hello Skipper
Gunny's done a photo feature on my finished diorama for me.
What other feature / mod was you after & also what would be neaded for this.
Apart from taking models to local shows over the years this is the 1st that I have put on the internet so not too sure what you need.
