Hi Kenny and the rest of the guys, too!

Yes DML/Dragon has made a good effort here with the Buchanan...
Lots of fine details from what I can see from the images, but could have done a little more details, considering the new or experienced modelers:
PE vertical ladders (not for the funnels only), PE Funnel grids, PE railings, PE radar screens, PE Depth Charges Racks and why not turned brass/aluminum barrels?
I know that this can be made from other available 1/350 WWII DD's PE set or even new ones that will appear in the market for sure, but with these extra details would be an hell of a package.
Just my 2 cents
Skipper

PS: It is still a most welcome plastic model, that will make a good company to the 1/350 Fletcher

Looks nice...thanks for the updated link! I hope they do not do with their new ship releases what they have been doing with many armor kits... release them just for a bit, then go OOP quickly. I would like to have this kit available 5 years from now...

Excellent model kit. I'm working on it and fits perfectly. The detail level is in many parts awesome.
Highly recommended. Relation quality/price excellent.
Maybe one day Dragon surprise us with an big 1/350 battleship model!

Aye, I agree mate, a fine kit from DML, who is setting the bar high now for other manufacturers (and themselves!) in future kit releases...time will tell of what they have planned next!

And by the way, if you wish, share some photos of your build with us! We LOVE to look at models!

Cheers,
~Gunny

Hi Kenny,

Got my copy a few weeks ago from Dragon USA- received great service from the folks there. Superb kit is all I can say. Glad we finally have a large scale Gleaves/Benson to work on. I've seen several large scale Fletchers issued since the 60's so it's nice to add the "other" World War 2 workhorse to the mix. Maybe an Allen M Sumner or Gearing next?
