Ahoy Shipmates

Just a FYI the Great White Fleet series of instalments numbering almost some 200 in the Chartroom forum finishes up this week with instalment 200. This is aimed to coincide with 22 February 1909 being the anniversary of the return of the Fleet to Hampton Roads.

Now I know you have all been eagerly following every instalment (said tongue in cheek) but get over and check ot out as this series draws to a final conclusion.

I always say there is nothing like a little promotion for a great cause (again tongue in cheek).

Cheers

Thanks for the feedback and encouragement Tom and Bruce.

I have learnt heaps from doing this series and whew I never thought it would get to 200 instalments and in fact be ever concluding them.

Have I enjoyed it - I sure have.

Whats next?

I have done two "series" - Felix Von Luckner and the Great White Fleet. I may take a rest from series posting and focus on my current modelling projects and doing some reviews that I promised to Mark - aka Gunny long ago. However if asubject/topic grabs my attention who knows.

Cheers

Well done, Sean. I enjoyed reading the installments and learning more about this watershed event in naval history.
