Ahoy Shipmates

I have a small follow up question.

Is there going to be a SOTQ # 3?

Just wondering as I had committed myself and my 2008 building schedule to it.

Cheers

Unfortunately Sean, I don't think so, mate...participation was, uh, a bit dissapointing, my friend...we'll concentrate on our campaigns for now, but who knows, maybe again in the future, eh?

Hi Mike and the rest...

Yes, you're the only one that finished a model for SOTQ#2, which I might say that kind of made me feel sad - not by the quality of your model, that you already know my feelings about it, but for the amount of proposals made and the end result.
I and the rest of MSW staff know that things not always work as we expect to, but this SOTQ initiative, was not a successful one.
We still have to arrange a way of you receiving your prize, though!

Cheers to all

I think the problem is that whilst ok for armour and aircraft probably, ships take longer. It was probably telling that mine was a small ship and an excellent kit, which certainly cuts down the time

hello Mark and Rui,
Maybe the contest was to short.maybe it might be 6 months long.i am having a hard time doing the Kai-Feng,which is a very simple model.most of the ship modelers do a lot of research on thier build.they also get the right paint and do P.E. and A.M. on the model so it looks good.
What i am saying is, doing 1 SQTQ or what ever you rename it to be 6 months to a year long, you might get more modelers to join up.
just my 2 cents.
cheers,

Well, that's something that could be remade or fixed
Well think and discuss that and let you know (all)

Cheers,
Rui
