Devin, very, very, nicely done !!!
I've enjoyed following this build and that's a very good finished model.
One question, did the 12 pounder [ guessing ] on the front deck come with the kit ?
Oh and is this kit available, I saw you mentioned that it's an old kit ?
Great work - Glenn

Glenn,
Thanks. The kit is still in production by Old Steam Navy. The kit I've been building is an older version of the current kit that I bought off of eBay a couple of years back. Since my copy was made they've done many upgrades in the quality and pieces.
The Napoleon is scratch built. I told Gary Kingzett that I needed one for the deck so he showed me how to make the wheels from slices of styrene tube and brass wire. I made the other wheel, scratch built the carriage from Evergreen I-beam and strip. Initially my Father and I turned a gun barrel for it on a lathe, but it turned out WAY too big. The current gun barrel is a chunk of brass tubing that I put in my Dremel and tapered slightly, then covered the breech with Aves putty and rounded it off. I might do some more work on the gun in the future, I'd really like to have an elevation screw and a ramrod attached to it.

Weehawken is finally finished. I actually completed her a few weeks ago, but I had trouble getting replacement bulbs for my photo lighting setup and just got around to taking these shots yesterday. More photos are on my website, and I'm working on a full write-up of the build process that I'll send in to Gunny when it's ready.

Ironclads are something special and so is your build! Wonderful detail, especially the scratch field gun, great stuff!
