Ahoy mates!
I would like to present my ongoing project which I'm doing on comission.
It's the relatively new kit from Italeri and it was build straight OOB. What's left is the detail panting and weathering the torpedo and the "riders". With this model I tried to use the color modulation described by Adam Wilder in this feature over at Armorama:
http://armorama.kitmaker.net//features/2006It came out a bit bright but hopefully the colors will tone down afterI some filters .
This will be a short blog so you may expect next stages and finished product photos in the next few days .
Cheers
Greg

Very nice work, Grzegorz!
When you complete this build, would you be interested in submitting a portfolio of finished images for an "On Display" feature? (hope so!

)
Cheers,
~Gunny

Hi Grzegorz
Your SLC Maiale is turning out very good - and I might say that the model really helps making a clean built out of it

Keep us posted please

Hi Grzegorz
:)
I really like your Maiale and the figurines are excellent too.
I have to agree with Mark for the photos (size 800x600) for a MOD Feature

Congratulations!!!

Ahoy mates!
Thanks for the kudos!!!
Rui, the fact is that I already started sending the photos to Mark but resized to 1280 pixels width. Is 800 pixels a maximum for a picture for MOD? (I'm resizing the pictures anyway so I could resize them to 800 pixels as well)
Cheers
Greg

Great painting on the torpedo and figures, Greg. I like the metalized touches on the valves and lines, breaks up the unitone. The base is very well done, very realistic wood grain.

)

Cheers
