Hi Manuel

A little advice on the Revell figure set:
They are made of that soft plastic, not the styrene one... this could turn an issue later, since the paint tend to flak out of the plastic.
"Hecker and Goros" and "Andrea Miniatures" make white metal sets, CMK resin ones, and these being more expensive and smaller (in numbers) are much more durable
Give it a thought
(I have no commercial interest in any of these companies)

Please keep us posted on your progresses...

I've got both CMY resin and Revell "soft-crappy" plastic. The CMK are superb, but the Revell have their good poimts: not bad detail, not bad poses. Bad: soft plastic, too many repeat poses, and too stiff poses.

I washed them in alcohol/mineral spirits, then painted black and did a dry-brush light-to-lighter efect, worked OK. I reposed by twisting heads, and even used an arm glued (CA) to a CMK resin figure.

My personal bottom line: the Revell are OK for a few figures, but have some CMK i there too.

This is my first update. I almost complete the hull of this sub, and the fitting is not as good as what i was hoping for. There are some small gaps that are good to fill whit some putty. The only thing that has to been done on the hull is some small PE parts getting on it.

Excuse me for my english writing but im not doing this every day.
