hello all,
i am starting a campaign on the Korean War over at Armorama.it is going to be a multi-site campaign.if it was used in Korea it is allowed.
i need a builder here on Model Shipwright to keep an eye on anyone who wants to build a Naval unit for the campaign.
I think this is going to be a great campaign,so if you want to join up,let me know.
the campaign might start this year, depending on the intrest of the modelers.
so what do you all think?
cheers,
Bruce

Bruce,
I am sure there will be some interest over here. Most of the ships were around during WWII so there won't be a shortage of US Naval forces that can be used. It sounds like a very ambitious plan.

Remember to give us ship builders plenty of build time.

Bruce,

I can get it made up early next week. As for being the Naval XO, I should be able to handle that. I quess you would only incllude the ships that actally took part in the war.

hello Jim,
yes,any naval ship on station(for a better word) during the Korean War is allowed.not only the UN naval forces, but any Communist Naval forces also.
MarkM is going to have me submit the campaign on Model Geek with other staff members putting a link to it on their sites.so far i have modelers on Armorama,Aeroscale, and here interested.nothing from Model Geek or Historicus Forma yet.
i will keep you informed as this progresses.
cheers,
Bruce

hello Jim,
i will submit the campaign this Sunday.it will be open to anything used in Korea, during the Korean war, there also will be no scale limit,so if someone wants to build a 1/8 scale airplane or if someone wants to build a 1/1250 ship it will be OK.on scales above 1/700 they must post clear photo's to get the award.
if you have any suggestions, let me know.
cheers,
Bruce
