I have a resin 1/700th scale Nuremberg, it has none of the plank details on it and I was wondering if anyone would know how too go about installing one on the ship. I have been modeling for fifteen years but I have recently gotten into the detailing aspect of the hobby. I am open too any techniques that anyone would be willing too share with me. Thank You!

Alex,

You could try scribing the plank lines in. 1mm in width should be about right.

Hi Alex,

I would use Evergreen Plastic N gauge wood sidecar planking or individual plastic strip. This means removing all the deck detail........and either saving all the removed parts or scratch building new ones, all this would entail a lot of work. But, IMHO it would be the best way to go.

I was wondering how to accurately scribe the lines. I have thought of this but I had no way of doing this well enough too appease my analness. I would not be able too stand imperfections as most of you can understand.........

Thanks Alex!
