Ok here we go.
Couldn’t figure out the gallery so pictures are hosted elsewhere for now. I’ll change that once I can.

As you can see all parts are still in the bags.

Also I have the PE set for it on order and its in the mail.
(Hope you guys don’t mind but I edited this one a little.)

I’ll be using the PE set, rigging and some spare plastic on this one. anything that I think could be better I’ll make miner modifications to and I’ll scratch build any lost or damaged parts. I may also use bits of plastic or brass from the odds and ends box for any such modifications.

Also I’ll be “scratch building” a display base for this one. So guess I gotta show my supplies for that.
Most of it will come form a piece in this pile.

It’ll be one of the crappy looking weathered pieces under the paper.

Also I’ll be using some of this piece.

The dark one under the curly oak and pile of yellowish stuff.

Well I think that’s all I need to show.

Don’t expect much from me for awhile. I’m going to be nice and give you guys a month long head start.

Actually this’ll also be my cruiser campaign entry so I’ll start the kit one the campaign starts.

Thanks guys.

Actually my first try at a 1/350 scale ship.

Dade I’ll try to do my best to point out the highs and lows of this one.

And the PE set.

It came a few days ago but I’m just getting around to the picture.
Not sure what I was thinking. Thar radar looks like it’ll be fun.

Yes one of the pieces is half lose and bent over. I assure you it was like that when it arrived. should be fixable.

Bah! Here I came expecting some AEGIS goodness only to be let down. I know you're holding off so it'll be part of the cruiser campaign, but I was hoping when I saw the June 30 update...

Well if you really want some progress from me that badly.

:)

I’ll post most of my progress in that topic and then update this one at the end of each month by contest rules.

Well... not much to show.
I’ve glued the hull together. Did all the puttying and sanding and started brushing on a primer coat.

Looks to me like the seams all gone now so it’ll be time to start some more building.

Hopefully I’ll have more interesting updates for this next month.

A little more then 5hrs and this month will finally be over.

Well I ran out of my main glue and spent all my extra money on wood at the start of the month so I couldn’t get the shafts to stick. All I could get done on the hull was this.

So I started work around the hanger.

the 3 doors and a ladder were scraped ff to be replaced by PE. I decided to keep the kits life rings and fire hose stations as the PE ones just seem to flat to me.

Also the Hanger isn’t glued down yet. If anyone has any pictures of inside the hanger I would love to see them. I’m thinking of having the door open but it just looks so empty in side and I don’t have a clue what would go in it.

Also I know the outside of the hanger looks like crap. It’ll be hiding inside the ship out of site.

Got some more done. even got to start playing with the PE and paint.

Had to add a piece of plastic strip to the back to hold things together but everything went up fine.
However I do think I may run into a problem. I’m not positive but I don’t think my set ass enough PE doors.
