Well done Peter,
That's a challenging paint scheme and you've managed it well.
Thanks for sharing,

Very nice build, Peter. I like that there is a little more to the diorama, than just water and ship. The listing to one side of the ship looks very convincing.

I nearly missed that one, things go rather fast thesedays at MSW!
hay well, what to say once more, ace model building, ace painting and a susual the very high picture taking standart that makes Peter's models a pure delight for the eye.
The touches of green in the sea by the boat are a very nice addition and so is of course the high angle at which you showed the boat too

Such a clean and detailed build and beautiful display. But she looks so real. The eye is drawn in. And of course the water. The info you provided was lovely, but anything else you could tell us would be great too. Well done

Great comments, thanks everyone. If there is anything you want to know in particular about the build, I can post a response otherwise it's a continuation of past projects which have posts descirbing the variious methods of construction - for example, there is a large archive on Modelwarships.com. Also coming up soon is a "blow-by-blow" account of how I built an "O" class destroyer using Liion Roar photoetch - should be good.
