New Show:Hero Ships

hello all,
on History International there is a new show called Hero Ships.it gives a 60 minute show on different ships like the LST,USS Texas,the Liberty Ship's,etc.it also has the people that served on them,great action footage,and the historian's view of the ship.
you might want to check it out,i have been taping them for my reference library.

That sure looks like a GREAT series, although I had to chuckle at a couple of minor errors in the write up on the web site. According to that, the CVN-65 Enterprise was launched in 1957 (sorry, not much chance of that since her keel wasn't even laid until 1958, and she didn't launch until 1960, and didn't make her maiden voyage until early 1962), and the CV-12 Hornet is identified as the "predecessor" of the CV-8 Hornet!!

Still not the funniest "typo" I've ever seen though. I saw an official publication from the Eighth Army in Korea which describes the border between North and South Korea as "the most demilitarized border in the world".
