Aye, maties,
Just a friendly reminder, the MSW "Forgotten Sisters" Campaign will be winding to a close very soon (July 6th, 2008), and if you are still building and planning on completing the campaign , kick it into high gear, mates!

Also, be sure to have your completed images uploaded into the official campaign gallery, as this is how your completion ribbon status will be determined...

If there are crew-mates that have fallen behind, and would like an extension of the campaign, NOW is the time to speak up, and if not, the closing date will stand as such!

Thanks to all who have participated in this group build!!

Well, I have become completely frustrated with the Dragon Tirpitz Kit.

I saw that my LOS had the Trumpeter Tirpitz on sale, so I bought it and started putting the main pieces together last night. Tonight, I start kit-bashing since there are some parts of the DML kit that I don't actually want to burn. the main problem are those Dragon Styrene parts.

I spent way too much $$ on PE, etc. to not be happy with the final product. So, I'm going to chalk the DML one up as a 'learning experience' and give the Trumpeter one a go, and see how far I get on it by the deadline, but might need an extra week if possible.

Hello All,

We have about 11 days untill the end of the campaign. Some of us are done but I would like to have more of us complete since there is a prize involved. I willing to extend the campaign for two weeks if it will help all of you complete.

I normally would not do this, but.......2 weeks would be nice. That is since I am switching to a different build.

I could use the extra two weeks (and some extra free time!) as well...

I've been putting in a lot of extra hours lately, but with my habit of way over detailing, there's no chance of my finishing by the original deadline. Two weeks will certainly be a help for me, although for about half of that, I'm going to be out of town!

I'm not concerened about a prize, I just want to complete my build since I committed to. But I don't want to cut corners on what I'm doing. Sort of the old Army motto "Train to Standard, not to Time".

In any event, I'm going to keep building until she's done. And I promise, I'll take the time to post some photos before I start to paint.

Hey everyone,

I will extend the campaign by one month. This will be the only extension so if ya need a boot to stern.....im sure we can do that . Keep your builds going and I expect to see the photos in the near future. So the new deadline is Aug 6th.
