I figured since there was no way I'd be finished by the dealine, that the least I could do was post some in progress shots of my build for the Forgotten Sisters Campaign. This is a Fletcher Class destroyer, the USS Healy, DD 672. The kit is the Tamiya Fletcher, which is an early war, round bridge, and naturally, what I wanted was a late war, square bridge, so in addition to over detailing, I've wound up having to do a lot of scratch modifications. The parts are just set in place at the moment, I'll paint the sub-assemblies before I secure them. I have quite a few more small items complete (like the twin 20 mms, etc), but I still have to do all the depth charge racks, a ton of painting, finish assembly to include all the railings and then finsh up all the rigging. I'll also be making a wooden stand and add a brass nameplate.
More photos will follow as I make more progress.

Hi Tom
It isn't any surprise for me to see your wonderful job with your Fletcher!
I got used to it with your USS Missouri and this "little one" is at the same level!
Take your time and make another master piece.... I can wait
Keep up
