I steered myself on in to this review solely because I read the word Sherman!
  
 
That said, I am pleasantly surprised with this kit. There looks to be something for everyone, and I'm sure that more Normandy landing diorama scenes will be realised, especially in 1/72...
The base is a grand idea too! The figures look great, and it harks back to old Airfix D-Day sets from days of yore (albeit this kit may be of better quality )

The Sherman has the large hatch hull in combination with the 75mm turret, which was only realised when in some DD configurations for the landings... A nice touch!

Would be nice if Dragon could do one of these in 1/35 did the italeri one a couple of years ago but with dragon adding PE and some of there excellent Gen two figures I,am sure they would be on to a winner.
