Hi guys ...could I ask you your opinions on which upgrade kits you prefer for the Hasegawa kit of the Mikasa? I am currently aware of :
1-Eduard
2-Gold Medal Models
3-Whit Ensign Models
4- Lion Roar
Which kit is best do you think?

LionRoar is an extensive set that includes PE and turned barrels. Have a look at Dade's build of the Mikasa, to see the GMM set.

I agree about the Lion Roar set- it has everything. The GMM set, while nice (thanks for the link, Frank ), is still kinda fiddly at parts, and lacks all the brass barrels, etc., that Lion Roar has.

Good luck!

Upon close inspection of the Lionroar set,Iv noticed it does not include photo etch decking for the torpedo nets. does this mean I would also have to buy the GMM set to get them?
