Gold Medal Models set (350-13)
Osprey press (NV 84)
Vectorcut (D350-02)
I wasnt able to find you any brass barrels, but If you use the osprey book, you can determine the calibre and possibly cheat wiith a BMK product
Hope this helps

Here is a nice build in progress on the German site Marinwerft.
He is using most all of the after market products on the build.

Hello Warren,
I had to put the kit in "my going to build someday"
With the medical problems and running the campaign section I have not touched a model in 16 months.
In a few months I am going to have my 4th or 5th knee surgery. If it does not fix it, They are going to take the leg a few inches above the knee.
Thanks for asking, I am still gathering info on the SMS Emden.
Cheers,
Bruce

That sounds a bit nasty mate. I have two bad knees so I know what a pain they can be. Not fun when they give way for no apparent reason. Luckily my medical bills for them are covered by Veteran's Affairs.
I have to get a PE set for my Emden and then I can start her. But with the dollar sliding down again it can wait for the 22 ships I have with all the PE and wooden deck stuff they need..

i have that and it is nice. gieven you are going to screw up the mid deck cutting off the pyramis steps anyway. i have the gold medal models pe set. as for the guns probably some sprue or brass rod would work for the barrel. i plane on cutting the back out and adding a styrene rod to simulate the breach.
