I take the opportunity to introduce myself around here because I am now the proud builder of a ship, the Dragon version of HMS Sheffield to be precise. Naval terms are totally alien to me so you will have to excuse the fact that I donīt know the rear-end of a ship from the front. I normally do figures & vehicles but the Sheffield was a gift for my birthday & the only other ship that I have done was USS North Carolina when I was 7 years old, didnīt even paint it. Now with a lot more practice with photo-etch & few more years practice I think itīs turned out as a nice result. Iīll get the photos that Iīve already taken posted on this same topic title as soon as I can because Iīm no computer whizz-kid & I donīt really have much time. See yáll soon. EERRR no I wonīt Iīll post it on the carpenters thing!!!!

Mike,
Welcome aboard.

It is always nice to get new shipmates checking aboard. We will have you talking like a sailor in no time. Just check out the Word of the Day posts. New Navy words and phrases everyday.

Thanks everybody,I do like the look of the Invincible Rui. Iīve got the feeling that the wife prefers the ships so weīll just have to see when Christmas comes.
