My Beagle, a constant friend and companion for sixteen years, has left this world.
I just do not feel like doing anything for a few days.
Thanks for your understanding in this matter.

I know the feeling Harry... although it was a cat situation.Take your time, and I know one thing for sure: it will never leave your thoughts, and you'll always remember all those good times (and some mischief too).

Oh, my friend, you have my deepest condolences and understanding...I lost my companion two years ago (a golden retriever of 15 years, that was my BEST friend), and it took a long, long time to get over the loss (and I still miss him, Harry)...we're here for you, mate.

That is a real bummer Harry, sorry for your loss. I had a little Beagle gal that was my constant companion for some 14 years and I know pretty much how you feel. They are great dogs with excellent personalities. While I lost her some three years ago, I have yet to have the heart to try and replace her.
Take your time and when you feel like it come back and join in the fun.
