With all the problems that you mention, you have masterly outcome them and made another beautiful and very full of action dio!
I like it - and again you took a major advantage on me, since my own Biter and Onslow are still... in their Boxes

great dio,the ships look fine to me.1 question,what is your secret for the water effects.it looks like water and it looks like some of the waters i have seen in the mid-Atlantic Ocean.

Great looking dio pair there Peter. That water looks ready to dive right into, something that I am working on for my own ship models at the moment. Excellent work all around dispite the trials and tribulations mentioned.

The method of creating the water is here on this site on my Averoff blog in the full build competition. But be careful! what looks good in photogaphy looks very different in real life. I was a bit apprehensive about this one as the effect in reality is like the unit tops in a tart's bathroom, very dark and glossy like some expensive marble - I continue.....

When i think i always dismiss more recent ships because they're uniformly grey, well i stand corrected! What a beautiful build and blend of colour, Peter that's another great victories of yours -that first pic which shows all the intricate details below the bridge is fantastic, what a splendid sense of picture taking!
