Hello guys

I was browsing through some of the kits from Pitraod/ combat Submarines on the internet and was tempted by the subjects eg Xcraft and Odin class subs.. but on second look on the models they do not look that detail and crisp

does anyone have any expereince on the kit and any comment on them?

I can only comment the X-Craft, the Caproni CB and the Kairyu (all in 1/72): The quality is excellent, good detail, good casting with some minor mold marks that needed fixing. All they need first is a good wash (to get rid of the releasing agent) and primer and ready to go!

The only issue would be finding them...

Rui is right. Although I do not have your kit, I've done an IJN carrier and have the I-400 sub(not started) by Pitroad. Both are injection molded though, I guess the one your asking about is resin. The quality of detail is excellent, some of the frets show detail to rival resin IMO. Though in my case of the carrier the fit was a bit troublesome.



This will indeed be your biggest issue with a Pit-road kit.
