Beautiful kit! I have seen on Hasegawa's site that this is a completely new tooling. Very nice.

Freetime over here in the States has them listed for almost $200. It was around $629 for the ship and all the extras!

But, it is sure a beauty.

I just pre-ordered the whole akagi kit, photo-etch super sets, wooden deck and planes (x3)
Anyone else doing the same??? I might need help with the build when I get this awesome thing!!! Might open the hanger doors and show more planes inside.

I've got the lot ordered as well. So far, all I can advise is "take your time" when building, but I'm sure there will be some other "watch out for " areas as it progresses.

I've also ordered the Akagi with all extras... I estimate it will cost me roughly 675 bucks ... but thats a great price here in Denmark .. so I'm pretty happy.

I hope to have the kit in my hands in 2 weeks .... oh the wait.

Christmas will be held early this year
