Hi Everyone!

Would it be possible to include naval rank icons for the Model Shipwrights member profiles?

Thanks!

Ahoy Karl!

We got em, mate!

You have to go to "Your Locker". in the upper right corner of your screen, which will take you to your personal control panel...look for the icon that says "modify profile", and click there...this will take you to your profile page, where you can make this change...look for the drop down menu that states "Forum Rank Selection" in the first box, pull down the menu, and look for the "US Navy Enlisted Ranks" title...save your changes, and presto, your enlisted!

Cheers,
~Gunny

Hi Gunny!

My bad--I meant the "other" side of the Navy pay grades, too.

Perhaps the eagle-shield-crossed anchors or SWOS pin?

Thanks!

Ahh, so now you want BOTH, eh?!

But seriously, Jim Starkweather is always open to additions/alterations such as this, if you can find me a suitable batch of rank images (which often times can be tricky) that can be used, send them to me, and I will put forth the request to Jim...

Hi Gunny!

Perhaps something generic like the U. S. naval officer's cap device: an eagle perched atop the American shield backed by crossed anchors. That way, we won't have to worry about stripes, collar devices, and such.

I'll look for an example.

Thanks!

Hi Gunny!

I found a sample from a public domain source. It's on my personal gallery.

Hope it works!

how about just the collar devices ie ensign lt.capt. commander etc although i've no clue where to get them.
got to thinking you would need the shoulder board also.

You're right, shoulder boards would be cool.

I was trying to keep it basic with the cap device idea.
