Hi John
Here it goes:
It's too bad they "loose" USS Edson for the Concord, but that's just me
A great place to visit (it was on my "I don't abdicate this" to-do list on my first NYC visit )
Thanks for sharing Dave and John

yep, love it! in (sort of) my neck of the woods, I work half the time in NYC, will get there hopefully this Fall.
ANd make sure I take lots of pics!
One of my dream (read= probably never do it) displays is to make very large scale Intrepid with all the aircraft of so many eras on deck.

Thanks for getting the photo up for me, thats Intrepid as seen from the Staten Island Ferry as she was finishing her refit in July. I may be wrong but it feels like she was finished slightly ahead of schedule. As an aside, I love that so many of these ships are being saved in this manner, I just wish that ships like Kearsarge, Oregon, Warspite and Iron Duke had been saved (and plenty of others)
