Hi All,

I wandered into the local hobby shop this afternoon, primarily to order up a 1/350 scale Trumpeter USS The Sullivans kit and, of course, no trip to the LHS is complete if you don't at least go look at what is on the shelves. Pawing through the usual jumble of various shaped boxes I came up with Revell Germanys' latest release of the old HMS Campbeltown kit in 1/240 scale.

I will admit that the purchase may have been spurred on by nostalgia more than common sense, I remembering receiving it as part of the Christmas haul long ago when I was probably 12 or so. But never the less, looking at the rather romanticized painting on the box top was just too much to resist and it followed me home.

I was wondering if anyone was familiar with any PE that might work for this old warhorse? I was thinking of GMMs' set # 240-5 for the Buckley and Ward, if I am not mistaken it was the same class as the Ward, have to do some research I suppose.

You are correct my friend with the GMM PE set.

Thanks Kenny,

I checked the website and it looks like a match all right. Time to break out the plastic.
