Hi everybody,
its the first time to post on model shipwrights and I have a question about german u-boat sailors. Are there any figures available in 1/35 scale that represent german u-boat sailors?
Another question I have is about rubberboats used by U-boat crews. How did they look like and are there any models of it in 1/35 scale?
I need both u-boat crew and a rubberboat for a small diorama I'm planning to do.
Thanks in advance for any answers.

You could take virtually any late-war WSS (LAH in particular) figure in leathers and convert it to a submariner - Alpine's Late War WSS Pz NCO Set is an excellent example of figures that can be easily converted by merely changing the headgear and insignia.

Kenny,
The Andrea U-boat figures are 54mm (approx 1/32 scale).

No worries, Kenny
If the figures are to be used on an open deck, or even in isolation together in a rubber dingy on the ocean, they should be okay. But as soon as they're put into an enclosed sub hull or on the tower or with other 1/35 scale figures, one will notice the significant difference in height and size.

Hi everybody,
thank you for the quick replies, this will already help me. The crew will be outside, so 54mm will also do.
Thanks again!

Accurate Armor has several U-boat sailors. Warriors has a couple also.
Cheers for Christmas!
