And an update on my grandfathers ship dio.
Plastics all on. PE parts are all on. Just have to add the PE crew and do the base yet.

Thanks Bruce.
these are some older ones.
If its just plastic it won’t be too hard. If you have a sheet of PE for it..... what fun.
20mm, k guns, and depth charge racks are all PE.
PE radar pieces were a real pain to get into lace aswell. luckily I had spares.

Been awhile but here's an update.
I still have to add the numbers on the one side and finish adding the crew.

decals are on and I've added the rest of the crew.
Still not sure if I'll try to do any rigging or not.
Also the clear case i had for it is all scratched up. I have a few more someplace if i can find them but they're probly in bad shape as well.
If I need to get something new any suggestions on a clear case at least 6inchs long?

Hello Jacob,
Great work on your build. I think that your Grandfather will be proud of your gift.
At Hobby Lobby I have seen some display cases for footballs, flags, etc.
They might have a case that will fit your build.
Thanks for the photo's and update, You have done a great job.
Cheers.
Bruce

thanks Bruce.
I don't have a Hobby Lobby around me so i had to check online. the smallest case I could find that it would fit in was 8" by 6" wich is a little big but could work.
