Now that I have the 144 Fletcher, I'm on the hunt for a fairly detailed Hull "frame and bulkhead" drawing. I need to be able to transfer that to the 31 inch hull so as to be able to replicate the oilcanning effect.

Steve

Thanks Jim,
Never been there before. Once there, All they had were 3 view drawings, mostly showing camo schemes. No framework anywhere.
I did find this site with low rez plans (Some High Rez also) for the USS Abbot:
http://abbot.us/DD629/plans/grid.shtml?5541-2
Still looking.

The Link I provided in the post above provided most of the blueprints that I was looking for with a fair resolution. Missing the mid hull.
Have a question for the Destroyer GURUs.......
OK, I am aware of the sloping decks. The question is about the verticle frames and bulkheads. From looking at the plans it "APPEARS" that the verticle frames and bulkheads are in fact 90 degrees from the horizontal.....meaning straight up and down. Is that a correct assumption? In a few drawings one "Could" conclude that the verticle frames and bulkheads lean aft some.
