Id like to make a Aoshima 700 scale IJN Tone but Im unsure what pe is available. Particularaly for remaking the masts. Any ideas what would be the best ?

I just received Aoshima's Chikuma&iP.E. which is Tone's sister. I suggest you to buy with the P.E. relased version. P.E. inside is not coming with the railings but kit also has white metal turrets with thermal baffle details casted on and 203mm brass barrels. Funnel's cage and bridge wind shield p.e parts is another big advantage. Also you do not need to buy aircraft trolley rails set. Catapults and crane, radars and secondary battery sides detailing are included Aoshima item number for above is: 039113

You can find IJN railings on every company such as Lion Roar, Tomsmodelworks.
