I am building the "USS Spence" (DD512), one of the destroyers that went down in the December 1944 typhoon in the Phillipine Sea.

Can anyone suggest where I can find a paint color guide (including camoflague patterns), both for the hull, and the main deck and above?

Thanks,

Barney

There's an excellent starboard side view showing her Measure 31 pattern to good effect and a useful port quarter view from several sources on the net. Go to Google Images and they'll come up on the first page.

Hey Barney,

Try this link. It's Snyder and Short's Ship Camouflage Site.
