They build out nicely, indeed. Do you think you could work as a sub-contractor for Jose in Portugal and outfit his 1:72 Yorktown? He must need at least 75 such units!

tell him to call me...Iv got nothing better to do now that Im a victim of the economic blight was about 18 hours for these 2 units but im sure an assembly line would go faster..as a point of safety for all...if using heavy photo etch like in the Great Little Ships kit ,PLEASE use scissors to remove parts from fret ...

Well Jim, I'm sure Jose reads this thread as well. I wonder if he has a good eye and dental plan?

Did someone call my name ???
Oerlikons ? Great ! Hey, those are real great pieces. Is it possible to know your prices?
As Karl said, I´m currently building a 1/72 Yorktown, and I´ll need plenty (60+). Let me know.

Hi Jose!
Just to so we're all clear on this: Jim assembled the gun from a kit--he didn't fabricate the parts. But, having worked on some 1:48 carrier projects, I can appreciate having a potential source of completed gun mounts while the ship-buidling is going on!

What a nice gun set. I'm goin to build a anti aircraft trawler bassed on a flower 1/72 Revell hull and going to use the GLS sets. Im planning to put 2 4 barreled pom pom building and putting it on the model. Can you advise me how to build them or are those guns in kits already exist in that scale.

Those Oerlikons look great.... definitly getting some for my Revell Flower.
Rob, I've been looking for after market pom-poms in 1/72 for a while without success. All I've found is a replacement barell. Like yourself I'm thinking of a AAA Flower but I'm thinking of replacing the main gun and the pom-pom with White Ensigns bofors
