hello all,
i need the Hull and deck colors for the HMS Victorious during the Arctic Convoys March-April 1942.
also if possible the Fleet Air Aircraft colors for the same time period.
the only photos i have are in B/W and the painting instructions are vague.
thanks for any help.
cheers,
Bruce
From May 1941 - August 1942, Victorious wore Admiralty Disruptive Pattern camouflage, using the colors AP 507A Admiralty Dark Grey, MS.3, and White; the flight deck was camouflaged in 507A and MS.3. We have all those colors accurately matched and available in our Colourcoats enamels, and you can find the port, starboard, and flight deck camouflage pattern in Volume 1 of Royal Navy Camouflage from WR Press, which we also stock.
