Hello,
While making is huge wharf 1/35 diorama, Alan McNeilly (ALANL) is trying to get all the "man power" he can to populate the scene convincingly...
Here are his feelings about Friendship Models WWII RN Sailor

Hi Rui,
Thanks for organising this.
I was talking with Ian at Friendship Models and the figure should have come with 2 heads, one in a 'Tin' hat and the other with the sailors cap, so some extra choice there.
Cheers

Thanks for the heads-up Alan (pun intended!)
;)
On a personal taste (or perhaps just getting sentimental) I would go for the Navy cap!

Hi Guys (or Skipper! )
Here's the figure with some paint on. I had a set of the Hornet RN Sailors Heads so I used one of those as it will fit beter for the home I have in mind.
Only one tiny blemish I noticed was at the bottom of the coat on the front over lap, a very tiny air bubble that I filled with Super Glue.
Anyway, not the worlds best figure painter but he'll do for me.

Hi Guys,
This fellow was due to be joined by a couple of shipmates, but I think they might have jumped ship at the last port of call
