Don't waste your money, you can find better photos and more accurate information on the web. This is without a doubt Squadron's worst ever ship book that had major errors on every page. They even have DD-448 captioned as USS Fletcher and it just gets worse from there. Actually it starts dead wrong with the first three paragraphs of the introduction having no less than 12 factual errors and that's just from a casual glance. Al Adcock and the entire editorial staff should be fired for putting this piece of pre-fecalized toilet paper out. They should print it on soft two ply paper and sell it by the roll.

Second Ron's post; two thumbs down on this one. Very ill-informed author and there is much that is wrong and missing. There is nothing, for example, in regards to the amphibious green camouflage painted on the Destroyer and Destroyer Escort APD conversions, and nothing at all about the 1945 shift to neutral gray paints. You can learn more at ShipCamouflage.Com.
