Starting adding the PE from GMM. Brings this rather bland model (Revell) really to life.
Need some info on main gun turrets. Can not find a good photo that shows if they had any water thight doors on them.
Need some info on other locations were the doors would be located on the deck and super structure.

No watertight doors on the turrets... it would be a weakness in the armor. There was a hatch aft in the platform part that hung over the deck, but you can't see that area on the kit without breaking it
No doors on the superstructure where the broadside/casemate guns were, but there were some on the break between the fore and aft deck. Inboard of the double "staircase" they have there.

Thanks for the info. I put the hatches on the aft section by the stairs. Looks good, thanks for the info. I love ships........spent 21 years in the Navy......but all of my time was as a "Dirt Salor", Seabee. Spent plenty of time around the fleet.
