Can anybody tell me were I can buy models of the USS Yorktown and the USS Hughes as I'm building a diarama of the sinkng of the Yorktown at Medway.

What scale are you looking for? Your best options are going to be 1/700 or 1/350. Which is basically small or large.

After a little checking the Hughes DD-410 is a Sims class destroyer. If you want to do it in 1/350, Iron Shipwrights makes a resin USS Russell, which is a Sims class destroyer, for $110. The new Trumpeter Hornet can be modified to a Yorktown. If you really want to go crazy a Blue Water Navy Yorktown (if they still make it) can be purchased for 40% off of $950 the next few days.
