Hello there, yet another Wickes class destroyer H.M.S Montgomery does anyone actually know apart from paint and hull numbers what differences there are between this destroyer and Salisbury, Cambeltown just to name a couple, I've built the Cambeltown in her camo and she just happens to be the sister ship of Montgomery and apart from the hull identfitcation numbers, I can't see a great deal of difference, could someone please explain throughout the Wickes class was there huge changes ? Look forward to your reply.

Hey Al,
The Montgomery was the USS Wickes. Here's a link to the NavSource page.

Phil - I don't suppose for a moment that plan is in colour, and if by chance it is, could you please photo copy it and post here, when I built the Cambeltown it was a hell of a job trying to get the camo right especially from black and white photo's.

No worries, and I thought this might make a brave diorama for someone.
