Ahoy mates,
I start this build for MSW CB last year.
Now I'm back and my project continues.

Here are new photos.

PE set I have made last august for some submarines - VIIC, IIA, ko-hyoteki and some spare parts.

Here used on kit.

PE deck on tower.

Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

Keep up the good work, and bring that PE set to market!

Looking good. I have the Type VII-C kit from RoG.

I have never seen the Type II kit. Is is OOP or hard to find?

Hi Jiri!

That's a nice kit, too. I'm looking forward to starting mine for the Divine Waterline campaign next month!

Hi Bill,

If you do a google http://www.google.dk/search?hl=da&q=special+navy+II+A&meta=&aq=f&oq= you will find it at some online shops in the states.

Its a short run kit from Special Navy - so its a bit pricy, I did a review some while ago - take a look in the MSW review section. And if you dig further, I did a blog on it.

Out of the box its the finnish Vesikko, so to make a true german type II A it needs some work.

No reviews for Special Navy showing up in the reviews section here. Anyone have a URL?

Yeah, I am aware of it needing changes, but then, they all do (Gato is a post-war version, the Type VII RoG kit needs about $100 worth of upgrades to be "right," I'm there).

Thanks, Jan. It looks like it might be worth waiting for the Type B in the works?

I think the B is just a rumour - but converting the A should be possible.
