Ive just rigged my first ship using sretched sprue I was hoping to use lycra thread Id got from WEM but I couldnt work out how to use it.
The thread I found would unravel into multiple strands and I therfore couldnt initially fasten it to the ship as the thread end was now freyed and all over the place when not under tension. Also how do you fasten it at the end point? Other than tying it to the start point ( which wasnt the effect I wanted. I couldnt see how to do the fastening. Especially at the start point.
If there's a technique for using this stuff please pass it on. Im just stumped on how to start. Hope someone can help.

Hey Allan,
If I'm not mistaken, most modelers unravel it and use the individual strands to do their rigging.
