Still pretty new to the hobby........I know you are scratch building..........looks very good. Are you using cardstock only or both card and plastic? And what is the build process?
I'm just trying to learn as much as I can.
Thank you
Sam

Thank You Sam for the kind comment. Yes it's gong to be both card and plastic. The hull is done first then the flightdeck. Modelers have ask me how do i mold the bow of the ship. It's hard to explane I have to show how it's done step by step. I think when i do the Coral Sea i'l show how its done. Im looking for a step by step build review, and hope that can happen. Just amazing what you have done and Im learning and building and also hope to be at your level.
Are you working off of photos and plans?
What is your process to convert your plans for the build size?
Sorry again for all the questions.........I'm sick for modeling know how.
Thanks for you input.

working with a lot of photos,no plans. i've have doing this for years and made a lot of mistakes in the process. I had to reshape the Midway bow to get the way it looks in the photos. Thanks for kind comments and I will try to do a better step by step build for you guys.

the bow took awhile to get it right. another layer of thin papercard and the bow should be done.
