This covers the ships from 1943, through end of WWII , to the halcyon midshipman cruises of the 1940s, through Korea, and ends with pics of the NEW JERSEY in 1968. Volume 13, already in the series, covers the modernised battleships of the 1980s.

In many cases I have take the same picture and cropped in tight to masts and radars and other areas of interest as I always have done, for the ship modeler..something YOU CANT DO IN A BOOK.
