I really like this build. I think the colors of the model make it stand out.

On the history side: Did the British really put the tails of the planes over the side of the flight deck like that? What kept the planes from falling off in rough seas.

Storing extra aircraft on deck took up space, so the outriggers were really used in this way. The aircraft were tied down in the ame was as if they were stored on deck.

Beautiful model with a lot of great detail. It's good to see an RN carrier instead of the usual Jap and American vessels, especially when it's given this kind of treatment.

Very striking. You don't see planes wearing a green camoflauge scheme on a carrier deck very often and it really makes an impact. I also really like the degree of weathering you chose to do on the hull... I think you struck the perfect balance between "too much" and "not enough." And I learned about the whole thing with the outriggers off the edge of the deck to tie down the planes, so that's a bonus

Very nice work.

So many things to look at, this is a really outstanding model, and really well painted too - I too really like the amount of planes lying and there, they make your head dizzy

Hooray for detailing the classic Heller kit! Since I want to shift to all 1:350, my two unbuilt Heller Illustrious kits are up for sale.

However, you're work is an excellent reference, thank you!
