What kit is shown in the photos of Lion Roars 1:700 IJN Kagero photoetch set, Aoshima or Pit Road? I bought the PE set now I need the kit to go with it.

I have that set as well. If I recall right it states for any kit. I have the Aoshima Kagero I plan to use. I have not looked over either the PE or the kit much, so I really cannot tell you much about them.

I will see if I can get a few minutes to give both a good going over this weekend and pass along my opinions.

Jim can you post a photo of the main deck of your Aoshima Kagero?( or do a review!) I'm basically after a kit that has high detail to begin with and that will go a long way to helping me.
