One cool dio and excellent model ship. Turning a few of those photos to black and white and adding a bit of film grain and you'd think it was the real one! Very realistic!

This is truly wonderful work. The overhead shots remind me of the aerial photos of Jean Bart at Casablanca in 1942!

I am especially impressed with the wake effects for the yard craft and the attention to the little things ashore like the gray navy scheme for the trucks and the red Mediterranean roofing on the warehouses. We need more scenes like these!

Indeed a very nice idea. These ships spend more time moored so it only seems a natural and fitting choice to depict them in that environment. One note is that J.Bart had additional bulges at the side of its hull still quite visible above water line and not the clean hull lines of her sister ship. One mistake that lies with the manufacturer of that kit (direct copy from the Richelieu kit) and rather annoying if you want to utilize the lower hull too.

Thanks very much guys! This was my first dockyard diorama and it was a real learning experience. I appreciate all feedback very much...I'm trying hard to improve my technique so that it's up to the high standard of the models on this site. Cheers!
