This is the frigate from Master and Commander, right? Originally she was supposed to be an American 44 gun frigate, but was changed to be French to avoid angering Americans. Are they basically doing an American 44, but as a French ship, or doing some kind actual French ship, or what?

I guess that this is going to be a plastic model? That means that we are going to have to make the plastics Hull, Deck, Etc, look like a wooden ship, Right.
Have you seen any of the hull and other wooden items to see if they are overly scaled large?

Seeing new releases (assuming its not a Heller rehash) in fighting sail is always welcome, but 1:200 is a bit tiny for the subject. I keep a lookout for this one, though.

same here - i would love to try a non-Heller plastic sailing ship at some point.
