While I have been off-line, I've managed to keep a little busy by building this little diorama, for those that don't know, I have neither the space nor the room for large dio's, so everything has to be small, or being able to be used again and again, the same for my multi-task diorama, however, this completed dio, I used the same mold twice for the mountain, and basically gone a little crazy with the gel, still, if possible, I would like both good and bad comments, thank you.

Hi Alec!

Nothing negative here. This is wonderful. Is this scene based on a particular location? It looks like Norway.

What material were the rock cliffs made from?

Hello there, the rock is made from plaster, and I tried to build something from memory, forget how to spell it, basically they are very deep lakes that sometimes have an outlet to the sea, I remember several German submarines operating from one base surrounded by high mountains, well, I did say I tried LOL

It is a Fjord.

Etymology: Norwegian fjord, from Old Norse fjǫrthr — more at ford
Date: 1674
: a narrow inlet of the sea between cliffs or steep slopes

I actually had the chance to visit the pens in Bergen Norway.

Yes fjord, thank you for that, Norway is a fantastic looking place, just come away from youtube gazing at those northen lights -wow- the thing was, I could see this thing but just couldn't spell it, a bit like an actor in a film, you can see her face, watch the film in your mind and even try and scroll through the names (yeah sad eh). Still, all done and dusted now, thank you again.

Hello there, I hope you don't mind, when you built your Truk Lagoon, did you also include a write up about the pier you built, I seem to have missed it if you did.
Thanks.
Alec.
