It's great seeing another modeler tackling photography with large subjects, and pulling it off so well!

WOW...the water effects alone make this a show stopper. Stunning. And, the beautiful work on the ship itself...I'm speechless. Kostas, that is just spectacular. I'd say your customer got a real masterpiece there.

Cheers,
Mike

Hi Kostas

Another terrific good presentation, always full of dynamic!
The sea effect really makes it (even) more powerful!
Congratulations

Cheers,

Agreed, the model is impressive but the ocean effects really steal the show. That really causes it to make the leap from a miniature representation of a warship to an instant in time frozen in a glass case. You can't look at that without seeing motion.

I showed some of the raw images to my wife when I was working on this. She was amazed this was a model.

Set that same model on a flat ocean and it is normal. Add this water and BAM!

Thank you all.
This is a small preview on some of the models i am working on at the moment .All are due untill this xmass but i think based on my current rate of work , i will be finishing them a lot sooner.
The list includes another commission for a Bismarck (surprise surprise) 2 hood , 1 repulse all 1/350 plus several 700 like another bismarck , 2 tirpitz, 1 nagato, 1 missouri, all in the same style as the bismarck. The images just show basically the deck painting after i applied the oil washes.
All are going to be in some sort of heavy sea , with bow going in or coming out with a splash.

Man, those types of pics look familiar....I think I will produce a photo tour of my home, featuring the fleet and the Karlshaven Yards, too!

Considering I am able to finish three or four models per year... You are going full steam ahead!

Fantastic work! The model itself is superb and the rough seas really make for an incredibly well done scene! Very impressive!
