I decided to start a new thread instead of me keep stealing the Divine Waterline one.
Now more questions. Mine/Depth Charge equipment. Most models of the ship depict it with rails on the deck ending in a small plank on the rear of the ship, but I do not see any mines or depth charges on these models. What do they look like and how would the crew deploy them? Now one model in the site's gallery shows a rack/cage unit on the back on the boat loaded with depth charges. I have the Lion Roar IJN Depth Charge set that I could easily use to make this, the question is should I or should I just stick with the simple rails?

Hello Anthony, there is an excellent build log of a S-boote in 1/35 by a fellow named Arjan on this site. You can get a lot of information by following it. It shows the mines and the depth charge stowage. The early Schnellboote (like the old Airfix kit) used a depth-charge rack much like those seen on USN destroyers, the cage-like affair you mention. The later boats, like the S-100 klasse ( the 1/72 RoG kit and the Italeri 1/35 kit) used the more simple rails. The length of the rails used for mines varied on different boats. I hope this helps.

That helped immensely! Thanks for the info. Lots of good S-boote builds here after I got looking around.
