that was easy! I used my Iwata hi-line, and thinned the paint about 60/40...used Tamiya XF-53 Neutral grey.( the paint was old.. my mistake ..and clogged the tip a bit ...not good)
I got really close and just swirled the pattern at low flow....like drawing squiggles with a pencil..
The hull was masked using Tamiya tape and I tried to keep the lines off the tape..I just wanted a good visual for me to confine the lines ..

I think i might try that paintscheme to another seehund - it sure looks cool.
Just a little idea, I would suggest a base that the boat is able to sit within as and in a lighter colour as the boat kinda blends in with the base.
Cheers/Jan

Good point Jan thanks ..its a good thing Im cautious enough not to have fixed the sub to that base yet ..its just sitting in place with a brass pin..
Mabe Ill try a lighter wood as a base .. with clear shellac mabe..
I saw this camo on a reference pic of an actual seehund on the internet so I know its not just a fairytale design..and I thought it looked really attractive..
